Class Description!


Our yoga journeys are a blend of meditation techniques, breathwork exercises, vinyasa, mantra, free movement, mudras and himalayan kriya.  We believe in balancing out the divine feminine and the divine masculine energies in the body. 

The Ida and the Pingala, the Shiva and the Shakti, the Sun and the Moon, the Yin and the Yang. These practices work on a cellular and molecular level and release bio-memory.  We will wake up the subtle body and connect to our authentic power through various pranic practices.

All levels are welcome, including beginners. No previous yoga experience is required to attend class.

Rama Torres


Rama has been practicing yoga since 2007 and is a certified yoga and meditation teacher who studied in Rishikesh, India. Rishikesh is known throughout the World as the birthplace of yoga. His travels to India inform his practice and he warmly shares the sacred teachings that have brought him deep joy, freedom, and awareness. 

Each of Rama's classes is unique, infused with Bhakti and devotional practices that purify the mind, body and spirit through dynamic movement and breathwork. Rama blends the practices of vinyasa, breathwork, free movement, kriya, mantra, bhakti yoga and meditation to create mental clarity and increase vitality. Every Yoga journey ends with a healing Mantra Sound Bath.

Solana Prema

Solana Prema is a certified yoga and meditation teacher who studied in Rishikesh, India. Rishikesh is known throughout the World as the birthplace of yoga. She has a Master's degree in Psychology and is a Holistic Psychotherapist and enjoys merging these two supreme modalities together creating a holistic and dynamic approach to the mind-body-spirit connection. 

Each class is unique and blends the practices of vinyasa, breathwork, free movement, kriya, mantra, bhakti yoga and meditation to create mental clarity and increase vitality. She experiences yoga as a purposeful way of living, not just something we do. Through her teachings, she encourages students to connect to their innate wisdom, inner radiance and their authentic power.
 
Using breath and movement, her classes inspire physical and energetic shifts that simultaneously reveal authenticity and allow mystery to unfold. She uplifts and empowers others through the practice of yoga, and her classes offer open-hearted movement that is joyful, grounding, and alive.

In Hindu philosophy it is said that the Universe was created by Shiva, unmanifested consciousness and Shakti, manifested consciousness. In our reality we can find many, if not all aspects of life follow this same balance. 
This week our host Yael Ginzburg speaks with Solana Prema and Rama Torres about the masculine and feminine aspects that we each have within us and especially within the structure of relationship.

There is a dance between taking time for ourselves to work on our inner world and working on the togetherness of relationship. Breaking out of the mold of what a man or woman ‘should be’ and letting our intention dictate our actions allows for conscious relating. Relating with each other while recognizing the line between compromising and staying true to ourselves. Also, recognizing the difference between facts and opinions. This allows us to bring the philosophies of yoga and conscious being into all aspects of life. 
We also spoke about how to navigate a partnership where the partners are on different places on the path of inquiry.
